Privacy Notice

Draft for owner/legal review · Prepared October 24, 2026 · Not an assurance of legal compliance

Operator notice: Hollerivo LLC is planned but not yet confirmed as formed. Until formation, the person/entity operating the site remains legally responsible. Replace this notice with the approved legal name and business contact details after registration.

Scope and operator

This notice describes the current Hollerivo beta at hollerivo.pages.dev. Hollerivo LLC is planned but formation has not yet been confirmed; verified legal operator identity and mailing contact must be added before public commercial launch. Privacy practices should be verified against deployed code and vendor settings.

Information collected

Locations and photographs

Map tiles and map-data searches can send viewed map areas or approximate coordinates to third-party services. “Locate me” requires browser permission; nearby requests may disclose coordinates to map providers when used. Some photos are resized in-browser to remove embedded EXIF metadata, but this is not a guarantee that all metadata or visible location clues have been removed. Public imagery and text may expose places you intended to keep private. Do not publish private hunting coordinates or private addresses.

What is public

Member display names, biographies, public stories/photos, comments and other intentionally public contributions may be visible even to nonmembers. Public meetup titles, general regions, dates and descriptions are public. Other people may make copies or screenshots. Private research and local-device notes are not intentionally shown in public feed, but browser loss or an unintended share may affect them.

Why information is used

To maintain accounts; display community content; let members plan trips and manage meetups; respond to reports, privacy requests and support questions; prevent abuse; process supporter purchases and refunds; keep legal and accounting records; and maintain service security. Any optional marketing messages should provide a clear opt-out and comply with applicable email rules.

Service providers and transfers

Hollerivo uses Cloudflare for hosting, Supabase for authentication and database/storage, Stripe for payments, plus third-party outdoor map layers, imagery, and official-resource links. Their processing, storage locations and international transfers are governed by their terms and applicable law. A current vendor inventory and geographic data-transfer review must be completed before wider international launch. We do not claim to sell personal information; advertising or analytics SDKs should be disclosed if introduced.

Storage and retention

Browser-local records can remain until you remove them, the browser deletes them, or the app changes. Public account records, reports, and uploaded content remain until deletion, moderation or retention processes apply. Payment and tax records may be retained for legally required periods. Specific retention schedules and backup purge times must be documented and tested before launch.

Your choices and rights

You can decline optional geolocation, avoid posting public information, download some local backups and contact support for access, correction, export or deletion requests. See the account-deletion process. Privacy rights vary by location; verified identity may be required to fulfill certain requests. For browser-local data, use the browser's site-storage controls only after exporting any desired backup.

Children

Hollerivo's interactive community and meetups are intended for adults aged 18+. We do not knowingly solicit account information from children. An effective age gate and handling of any underage accounts must be completed before a broad launch.

Security and limitations

We rely on configured access controls and our service providers. No storage or transmission is risk-free. Security, access controls, moderation visibility and deletion flows need independent verification. Contact support if you suspect unauthorized activity.

Updates and contact

Changes to data practices will be reflected here and material changes should be communicated to account holders before they take effect. Contact support to exercise rights or ask questions.
